Publisher review:MAT File I/O C Library with Fortran 90/95 Module interface - C library/Fortran Module for reading/writing MAT files. libmatio is a C library with a partial fortran 90/95 module interface for reading/writing MATLAB MAT-files. The library is intended for programs/libraries that do not have access or want to rely on MATLAB's shared libraries. For compressed MAT-files, zlib 1.2.2 or better is required. Note that if you use zlib 1.2.2, there is a bug for which a patch is included in the subdirectory patch. Please see the README file and the libmatio.pdf API documentation.
